RENNtech Launches Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG Black Series Carbon Upgrades

The C209 Mercedes-Benz CLK Coupe may have been replaced by the newer C207, but tuners aren't about to leave owners without aftermarket products. Florida-based Mercedes specialist RENNtech has just released a new aero package for the CLK 63 AMG Black Series, which includes a fully functional full carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser, front air brake ducts, a redesigned carbon air box and fully adjustable DTM style rear wing.

According to the company, all components have been tested by the firm's in house design and engineering staff "to integrate seamlessly within the original body work" and offer improvements in vehicle performance and handling. For details and pricing follow the break for the tuner's press release.

BRABUS Releases ECU Tune for Mercedes' BlueEFFICIENCY Models

Brabus, the German tuner of all things with the star on the hood, has launched a new ECU upgrade for the Mercedes-Benz 200, 250 and 350 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY models with direct-injection gasoline engines.

Equipped with the Brabus ECO PowerXtra CGI kit, the four-valve four-cylinder direct-injection engines in the C200 and E200 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY models produce an additional 26HP and 30 Nm (22 lb-ft) of torque.

Inden-Design Presents Mercedes-Benz CLK Cabriolet DTM Replica Kit

Back in 2006 Mercedes-Benz launched the CLK DTM AMG Cabriolet, a limited production version based loosely on the styling of the DTM racecars that was motivated by a 582HP supercharged AMG V8 engine. Now German tuner Inden Design has decided to offer all CLK Cabriolet owners the chance to drive around with a DTM lookalike with the introduction of a replica package.

Aside from the wide bodykit that sees the humble CLK Cabriolet gain several inches around the front and rear end, Inden-Design's DTM package adds in-house styled 19-inch alloys wrapped in 255/30 rubber on the front axle and 305/25 at the rear as well as a sport suspension kit from H&R and a sports exhaust system. For the interior, Inden offers a 22-piece carbon-fiber kit that can be complemented by a sports steering wheel and AMG graphics for the instrument panel.

Matte Black Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG DTM Cabriolet

We’re going through a (matte) black and white phase this period here at Carscoop so this Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG DTM Cabriolet shown over at our Dutch friends at Autoblog.nl, was something we couldn’t ignore. If it were our money, we’d certainly go for the Coupe as the Cabriolet looks kinda weird but we wouldn’t mind at all taking this 582 Hp “fraulein” for a spin. However, something tells us that we’d have to figure a way to do it without the “Dork 1” licence plates…-More images after the jump
